Dave Cole and Jeff Knoll formed a unique bond in late 2004 when over dinner the two pitched ideas back and forth that ultimately lead to the King of the Hammers race in Johnson Valley, Ca. The two had rarely spent much time of-roading together, but mutual respect led them to that fateful night of story, tales, and idea's. In 2006 Dave went on to win the W.E. Rock world championships, and Jeff joined the SCORE International Trophytruck team of Pflueger racing.

In 2007 A call went out for a secret gathering of a wide selection of Rock sports personalities in the Johnson Valley OHV area. The rest is quickly becoming Rock sports, and desert racing History.

Dave Cole is a highly active member of the off-road community participating in Professional Rock Crawling, Land use, desert racing and Club activities with the Tin Benders. His Passion for Johnson Valley OHV area is unparalleled.

Jeff Knoll has been involved in all forms of Off-roading since 1974. His CRCA events are considered by some as a pioneering force in Rock racing. Jeff is currently participating in Professional Off-road racing in the Best in the Desert series 3000 and 4400 classes.
